Terms of Use | Habit Goals

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Habit Goals ("the service", "we", "our"), you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of the service

Habit Goals is a web application that lets you track daily habits, set goals, and view progress (e.g. streaks, levels, charts). We offer a free tier (e.g. limited number of habits and goals) and a paid "Pro" tier with additional features (e.g. unlimited habits and goals, advanced analytics, export). We may change features, limits, or pricing with notice where required.

3. Account

You must provide accurate information when signing up and keep your account secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use the service.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, other accounts, or our systems.
Abuse, harass, or harm others, or use the service to distribute malware or spam.
Scrape, copy, or resell the service or data in bulk without permission.
Circumvent any usage limits or access controls (e.g. sharing one Pro account to avoid paying).

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms.

5. Payment and subscription (Pro)

Pro is a paid subscription. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy; their terms and privacy policy apply to payment processing. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fee (monthly, annual, or one-time, as shown at checkout) and to any renewal terms (e.g. auto-renewal for recurring plans).

Cancel anytime: For recurring plans, you can cancel through your account (e.g. "Manage subscription" in Profile) or via Lemon Squeezy. Cancellation stops future charges; you keep Pro access until the end of the current billing period.
Refunds: Refund policy is as stated at checkout or in Lemon Squeezy's policy. We do not guarantee refunds beyond what they allow.
Price changes: We may change prices with advance notice; continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.

6. Your data and privacy

Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what data we collect and how we use it. You retain ownership of the content you create (habits, logs, goals). You grant us the rights needed to operate the service (e.g. storing and displaying your data).

7. Intellectual property

Habit Goals (name, logo, design, code) is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the service or our branding without permission.

8. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose. We are not liable for any decisions you make based on the data or features of the service (e.g. habit tracking or goals).

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we (and our affiliates, officers, and employees) are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (e.g. loss of data, profit, or goodwill) arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or, if you have not paid, zero).

10. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or for other reasons (e.g. abuse, legal requirement). On termination, your right to use the service ends. We may retain or delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and legal obligations.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and, for material changes, we may notify you by email or in the app. Your continued use of the service after the changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the service.
